Learning across the Curriculum

Our curriculum is dynamic, creative and relevant while still ensuring that children learn key skills. We teach all Cambridge International Education (CIE) subjects through our own Multikids (MKA) schemes of work. Occupational, Physio and Speech and Language Therapy play a key role in teaching and learning at MKA, and our schemes of work incorporate close links between subjects.

Enrichment of the curriculum

During the year the children experience a variety of themed days. These incorporate a range of visitors and diverse, exciting experiences for children. Recent activities have included World Book Week, Climate Change Action, Remembrance Day, Rights of a Child Day, Africa Unity Celebrations. Such days are used to bring the curriculum to life.

Our curriculum is multi- sensory friendly to ensure learning is accessible to all children.

Art & Design

Art and Design is taught as a subject at Keystage 3 towards IGCSE.
